  This year it has been hard for me to concentrate on my studies, but if I had to choose a subject among all the subjects of this semester, it would be analytical chemistry, in that subject the subject is about techniques and methods to classify and analyse chemical compounds in small samples.   I enjoy the course because the subject is more experimental and it is not too much theory, so it is not difficult for me to study because it is more practical than other courses, for example organic chemistry, which for me is a difficult course. In the course I have learned chemical equilibrium and its application in analytical chemistry, such as solubility, precipitation of a compound. We have also seen methods to classify a sample, with which we can identify the anions or cations it contains. What I thought before studying it was that because of the name the course was going to be more complicated and boring, also there were people who told me that the course was boring, but in...

  Hi everyone, the person I chose is Valery Alekseyevich Lagasov he was a soviet chemist in the field of inorganic chemistry, he was born on September 1, 1936 in Tula in the former Soviet Union and he is remembered because he oversaw the Chernobyl accident investigation committee. After the accident, he was a key member in investigating the causes of the disaster and measures to minimize its effects. His death was a suicide two years after the incident, at which time he was suffering from depression and lung cancer due to the radioactivity he was exposed to. In 1996 he was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation. I personally respect Valery because he and his team of researchers managed to somehow minimize the damage caused to the population and they did it all from scientific knowledge, I hope someday to help the planet in that way.

  Hi everyone, my major as I tell you in the previous post is Chemistry and my major could affect the world for better or worse, It depends on who does the work, because it has been seen sometimes in the chemical industries that something goes wrong and that ends up affecting the ecosystem and people, so the chemists have to do their job perfectly. I am still not sure where and how to pursue my major, but I want to help make the world a better place, either by studying chemical compounds that can help society or by working in a company dedicated to the environment. My career contributes to the world in different areas, as an exact science can contribute whether it is in research, food, the environment, chemicals that contribute to society. An example of the help of chemists is that they contribute in the work of creating vaccines against covid-19.

  Hi everyone, the image I decided to choose is about a character from One piece, his name is Roronoa Zoro and he is probably   my favourite anime character, Zoro is a swordman who aims to be the best swordman in the world, he caught my attention since he expressed his conviction and his effort to fulfill his dream and as it says in the image, nobody can make fun of his objective because he has dedicated his life to training to achieve it. This character is important for me because is the effort made person, that perhaps he is not the best at this moment but one day he will be, then I think when I am very stressed or I get a bad grade I must keep going to accomplish my goals, because the results will come yes or yes. That is why this character is important to me, and I hope that when the story ends, I and he will have achieved our goal.

 Hi everyone I will tell you about my favorite foods, one of them are the ''humitas'',they are made of ground corn, I tried them when I was little and to this day I love them, I like to accompany them with tomato salad or I can also eat them with sugar. I also like legumes, my favorite is lentils. I really like cabbage salad, spinach salad with lemon and beet salad. I try to eat healthy most of the time. I also like to eat fruit, I try to eat every day, I like apples, bananas, pears, grapes, although my favorite fruits are watermelon and prickly pear, too bad they are seasonal fruits. I love fast food, but I try not to eat too much beacuse they are harmful to health, I like pizza, the ingredients I usually put on it are olives, paprika and mushrooms. I like french fries just as much, the dressing I like with them is BBQ.

  Hi everyone. Well today I tell you which is my favorite piece of technology. And the piece that win by a lot is my computer. I have it since the last year, I bought it because I did not have one, I used to use my uncle's computer. With my pc I can study and connect to online classes, also I used to play video games with my friends, and we usually play counter strike or age of empires.   Now the pc is part of my life because I must work in the computer and my hobbies are on it. So, for the screen my eyes get tired and that´s probably why I wear glasses now. Another consequence of using it a lot is the backache. I do recommend using it because a computer is a very good investment for the university and makes your life easier. 

  Hi everyone as I said in the previous post, I study Chemistry but when I was a child I wanted to be an animator, because I liked to draw and   I liked to watch animated movies. When I was applying to university I was determinated to study Chemistry so that was my first preference, then came statistics, civil construction, among other careers. I decided on chemistry because i really liked it, I found it to be an interesting branch of knowledge. My experience at university has been a Little of everything, moslty stressful because the online modality, my problem is that I lose focus and at the end I finish watching all the class before the test, but there also good things like meeting more people and learning new things. The job that I would like to have is still not very defined, later when I advance in the career I will find something that i like to do, but for the moment I would like to work in research.
