Hi everyone, the person I chose is Valery Alekseyevich Lagasov he was a soviet chemist in the field of inorganic chemistry, he was born on September 1, 1936 in Tula in the former Soviet Union and he is remembered because he oversaw the Chernobyl accident investigation committee. After the accident, he was a key member in investigating the causes of the disaster and measures to minimize its effects.

His death was a suicide two years after the incident, at which time he was suffering from depression and lung cancer due to the radioactivity he was exposed to. In 1996 he was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

I personally respect Valery because he and his team of researchers managed to somehow minimize the damage caused to the population and they did it all from scientific knowledge, I hope someday to help the planet in that way.

  Hello everyone, my name is Christian Soto, I am twenty years old, I study Chemistry, this is my second year in the career. I am from Chile, I live in Ñuñoa, with my parents, my sister, and my uncle. My home is close to the Estadio Nacional so when I was younger, I played soccer there. I do not like a particular style of music, I listen to anything that sounds good, currently I listen to Low roar, their music relaxes me and when I study it helps me to  concentrate.

A country I would like to visit

  A country I would like to visit is Japan because I usually watch anime series and I like the landscape of this country as the Mount Fuji or  Biwa Lake. In the first place I would like to visit the different temples as Kiyomisu-dera situated in Kyoto or Kinkakuji temple also located in Kyoto, there are old and huge buildings of the Ancient age of Japan. Also I would like to visit Akihabara that is an area located in Tokyo, where you can find everything related to Japanese popular culture as video-games center and manga and anime shops. I would like to study there but just a few years because their culture is so different from ours and I will feel uncormtable surrounded all the experiences that entail. In conclusion I would like to visit this country but only for vacations, only to enjoy travel around the country and eat their typical food like sushi and ramen.

Gratuitous pictures of yourself

  First of all, I must say that I usually don't take pictures of myself so I had to look for some pictures that I find funny and I found very few but I chose this one because I dedicated myself to make the picture look good, I took it when I was studying in high school and when I was watching a lot of anime. At the time my picture was taken I was watching for the first time an anime called Jojos bizarre adventure, the plot is about the lineage of the Joestar family and how they must fight supernatural forces, the story of the first Joestar, Jonathan Joestar takes place in the 1880's who faced his family's worst enemy, his stepbrother named "Dio", this enemy will resurrect to cause most of the dangers directed towards the family. I became obsessed with that show and in the Jojos community there is a joke about taking pictures posing like the Jojos characters. So, I took a picture of me posing like the Jojos, but I wanted to finish the job well so I was practicing
